Philosophy & Mission

The New High School Project is founded on the idea that a school can be made to suit the students it serves.  Because all students learn differently, we teach differently.  At TNHSP, teaching teams tailor instruction to the needs of each student.  Our project-based program engages students and equips them with necessary academic skills. Along the way, The New High School Project helps students understand their own learning styles and encourages students to advocate for themselves.  Ultimately, our goal is to inspire our students to develop their unique strengths and talents, and in the process, create community members who are dedicated to a lifetime of learning.

Our mission is to provide diagnostic education to students with specific learning variations and equip them with the skills, confidence, creativity, and perseverance necessary to meet the challenges of mainstream education and lifelong learning.

"I've learned that I'm not the only one who thinks the way I do, and that made me feel better about myself." -- TNHSP Student
