TUITION & AFFORDABILITY

We understand that many families have not included The New High School Project’s tuition in their financial planning.  Commonly, families are faced with reevaluating and rearranging existing plans in order to manage our tuition.  Some families might consider refinancing a home, liquidating investments such as college funds, retirement funds and savings plans, utilizing tax deferred educational accounts through employers, or consider adjusting their federal tax withholdings.  Other considerations include increasing income, or borrowing from extended family members, or a lending institution.  Some people do not possess many or any of these assets or options.  Each year a limited amount of financial aid is made available to those families who apply and demonstrate their need.

Be sure to explore all options available, as tuition affordability is likely easier than you think.

Tuition
Tuition for the 2011-2012 school year is $33,900.

Payment Plans
Tuition may be paid in one of four types of payment installments over a ten month period.

Financial Aid
Families unable to pay 100% of the school’s tuition and who are able to demonstrate a financial need are encouraged to apply for financial aid.  We encourage families needing financial assistance to apply as soon as they are contemplating or seriously considering The New High School Project as an option for their child.

Applying for Financial Aid
Financial aid requests are submitted online through the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) link below.  In order to apply your child must be currently enrolled or be engaged in the admissions process (summer or regular school).  An application fee of $36 dollars applies for each student application submitted in FAST.
